Q. What is Bubble Soccer?
A. Bubble Soccer is a safe and fun sport where you simply pull the inflatable ball over your head, strap yourself in and play! There are several types of games to play dependant on how many players there are!
Q. Can I have Bubble Soccer at my party or function?
A. Depending on how much room you have available, we can either come to your backyard or host a Bubble Soccer party at a suitable location nearby. We can set up in most suitable local parks, excluding Inner City Brisbane Parks.
Q. Do we need Council Approval to have bubble soccer in our local park?
A. Yes, we do require council approval in order to operate our equipment on council property. We are more than happy to assist with this process and even look after all the council approvals for you.
Q. How do we book?
A. Simply contact us by email or phone and tell us the date, time and location you want to play. If your desired date and time are available, the next step is to lock in the venue – either Council Application, Private Property, Indoor Centre. Once the venue is confirmed, we will send you a confirmation invoice with all the details.
Q. Do I need to pay a deposit?
A. Yes, we request a $200 deposit to secure your booking. This deposit is fully transferable or refundable if the event is cancelled due to weather or you reschedule/cancel your booking more than 7 days prior to the event.
Q. What happens if it rains?
A. If there is only a brief shower, we able be able to operate through it, however, it most cases we would offer to move the event to a suitable indoor venue (where available), reschedule the event or cancel the event.
Q. Is there a minimum age limit?
A. The standard bubbles we use are most suitable for ages 7 years and over, however younger children can use them as well (depending on the individual child’s abilities). We also have kids size bubbles which suit children aged between 4 – 7 years. Please note that this a guide only.
Q. Can I play Bubble Soccer if I have been consuming drugs or alcohol?
A. No, we don’t allow players to play whilst under the influence because just like every sport, the consumption of alcohol and/or drugs does affect your judgement, balance and reaction time… which may result in injury to yourself or others.
Q. Am I covered by Public Liability by Globe Riding Australia?
A. Absolutely! We are fully insured for Public Liability! However, if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol you will not be covered by our insurance.
Q. Is it possible to get injured?
A. Like any full contact sport, there is a chance of injury, however we reduce these risks by giving all players a detailed brief prior to playing as there are several things that players can do which significantly reduce any chance of injury.
Q. Is there a minimum maximum number of people/players? A. We recommend a minimum of 15-20 people for a two hour session, however we can cater for groups of up to approx 50-60 people within this time frame. We can adjust the game times to best suit your booking. If you have less than 15 people, we would advise a one hour booking which we only offer at selected indoor venues.
Q. Do we need to provide our own referee?
A. You can if you wish, however we fully supervise every event and as such are more than happy to be your referee.
Q. What do we wear?
A. Normal sporting attire is suitable, if you are planning to go elsewhere after playing (to lunch, drinks, etc) we advise that you bring a change of clothes. We recommend: standard sneakers, t-shirt, shorts, pants, tights, etc. We do not recommend: thongs, singlets, skirts, dresses, heels (low or high). We do not accept studded footwear or steel cap boots.
